Home after the Holidays

My DH and I, as I said earlier, went to the Pocanoes for the Thanksgiving weekend. It rained on the way down and on the way back, but the two days we were there were perfect. We played at the arcade at the nearby Fernwood Resort, went to a tricky tray and autograph auction there (I got Dave Barry's and Ridley Pearson's new book, Peter and the Starcatchers on CD and paid less than it is worth... Same with a Dave Brubeck Christmas CD and a For Better or Worse autographed book by Lynn Johnston). We ate lots! I was in a magic show, helping Damian the magician, with silk scarves changing behind my back (even though they were stuck in my shirt). It was all very interesting....
