This story is one of those that is written before the fact -MSNBC - Frightful storm barrels through northern rim. In fact, so is this blog...It's "supposed to" start snowing in about 10 minutes and snow until tomorrow afternoon. I, personally, am betting on 2 pm and possibly agree on the snowing all day and into the night. What worries me is Monday, when all the idiots who saw those hideous SUV commercials and went out and bought one start dashing through the snow....My daughter had one back out in front of her when we last had snow and ice on the streets. She hit the curb and bumped the suburban attack vehicle. No real damage to the car, but we took it to the garage, had the tires rotated, the alignment checked and they found that the wheel bearings were damaged. Total was around $400, but a lot of it was the "tune-up" part that we had neglected. So, if you are in the area - well, just about anywhere there's snow nowadays - and don't happen to be in one of those aforementioned vehicles, watch out - they are surely out there.....
