The Opus cartoon in this morning's paper brought up another of those questions about discrimination. Why aren't there more female animal cartoon stars? They opined that Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck were just backups - as is "Babs" Bunny and various other girlfriends to the male stars. So now I'm going to be wondering about female animal cartoon stars all day....Sigh....
