It's been a long week - and it's only Wednesday...

Well, it's been a pretty good week so far, aside from the shoveling of snow and scattering of snow melting material on walks. Thank God for the Government folks like Dick "Can't Shoot Straight" Cheney for humor that's kept me giggling like a maniac in my spare time. As Jon Stewart said - you couldn't make up stuff like this (or something to that effect). Truly, what writer would think up something like shooting a buddy in the head with birdshot? Accidentally? I mean, writers have written about people who do that on purpose - it makes for the base for a mystery. But the surrounding stuff in the "true" story is so odd, nobody coulda thought that sucker up... Thank goodness they aren't cracking down on the cartoonists who have been using this "accident". Can you imagine it?
Republicans riot in streets after leader mocked in cartoons!

I've also been thinking about a possible cartoon with the "Prophet", suitably hidden, perhaps, thinking "What on Earth are these people thinking? What makes them think I would support such indignities?" with the obligatory suicidal bomber blowing him/herself up at the side.... Just a thought. Thank God I'm not publishable...
