Derby Winner - Street Sense

I'll let the Louisville Courier-Journal tell the story. Needless to say, my horse selection did not win. Thank goodness I did not have a chance to bet on him... I celebrated by getting Maker's Mark and a bottle of Simple Syrup and a bunch of mint and making myself a mint julep, which did not taste as good as the ones from the track, but hey, I'm not a bartender...Been 22 years since my last Derby and I doubt I'll go again, unless I win a contest. Which does not look likely at this point...Oh, the sun shines bright...
