Happy Birthday to all those wonderful December people!

One was the DH who turned 56 on Saturday, making him even closer to the grumpy old man he evinces occasionally; another is Elayne Riggs, a lovely person who has hit age 50 and is a bit grumpy about that; another is Robin Riggs, who is catching up with his aforementioned spousal unit on Thursday, December 6th (men naturally get "older" when they age, it's just one of those things - like they get sicker that us womenfolks when they get sick); another is my lovely mother-in-law, Barbara Pearlman, who turns another year older on December 23rd (yes, I do know, but I'm not saying); another is our nephew Jonathan Simbol, who turns from an adorable li'l toddler into a twenty-something rocket scientist (Lord, I don't keep track) in no time at all on December 24th; and last, but certainly not least, that cute little baby Jesus, who would allegedly be 2007+ years old on December 25th. And interestingly enough, all except Robin are Jews. And yes, Jesus was Jewish - his mom was...
Would that the magic of Christmas last all the year through - especially the "Peace on Earth, goodwill to men" (and all the others of us, too, including pigs and chickens as Miss Piggy once intoned).
Let us hope the new year will bring us a little closer to peace on Earth - everywhere on Earth...
