All is well...

Talked to Jenni today - Kara got her school supplies. She begins school at a new elementary school- as you may recall having read about before. GRC, as the school is known, will be Kara's school for one year, then she goes back to the middle school - where her kindergarten class met, since her first elementary school (and mine, too, BTW) was being renovated. Not sure if GRC was renovated or not... I also talked to my mom on Sunday and she's doing much better. She sounds better...Big sigh of relief here... And here, Elysha is back from her vacation with her friends "down the shore" and is back at work. Steven is working more at Sylvan (somebody up there likes him - he's sold a batch of stuff on eBay and has gotten extra hours at Sylvan since he began whining about money and boredom.). Good thing - I was ready to kill him, if I had to listen to him whining anymore... We've had a batch of thunderstorms, which have cooled things a little. But it is still summer. And weekends off have been great... Well, with the exception of the whining, maybe. I'm sad that we didn't get to go to the Caribbean this year, but it was good to go home (except going through Ohio!!!). Elysha is double digits - 22 and I turn doubles this year, too - 55. Kara's is next year - 11. So, as I said, it appears all is well - for now. Knocking wood and keeping fingers metaphorically crossed....
