Much as it disturbs me to do so, I'm passing along the announcement (confirmed by Snopes, those Urban Legend people) the June 3 is National Doughnut Day. Furthermore Krispy Kreme outlets are giving away doughnuts then. It disturbs me to announce this, not because I am against fattening foods like Krispy Kreme doughnuts, but because there isn't a single one near me!!! There are outlets all over New York City and one in, God help me, Brick NJ... Boy, am I ticked.....
