Women's History Month

Scholastic has a site titled Women Who Changed History and isn't that what this month is all about? Included are the usual suspects - Amelia Earhart and Rosa Parks, as well as lesser knows like Melba Pattillo, one of nine teenagers who were the first African-American students to attend Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Dr. Mae Jemison, who became the first African-American woman to orbit the earth when the space shuttle Endeavour launched into orbit in 1992.
