Steven was right - he fractured a rib. He's got to just let it heal. He'll have to take ibuprofen and try not to cough (that makes it hurt more).It means I'm going to have to get the garbage together and stuff that he'd do that would involve lifting. I called Mom about her birthday. The cell kept cutting out so I called with the landline. It cut out, saying the phone was out of range (and I hadn't moved at all). So I finished up with the cell again. She said that she got a lot of cards. She didn't mention Kara or Jenni, so I guess it's John and Cathy's family. She hasn't gotten my card yet, but I did mail it on Monday. She said John and Cathy are going to bring a cake over tonight and it's a nice day there. I hope her birthday is happy.

The refrigerator cut out on Steven when he went to get ice. Plugged it into the older socket with the microwave and it works. Steven checked the breakers and that wasn't it. Just one damn thing after another.
