Cleaned up a lot in the basement so that, hopefully, Steve will start putting his junk down there. Yesterday, which I forgot, I read my Monkees stories and marveled at how stupid the main idea was. Of course, a lot of girls imagined dates with Davy Jones - Marcia Brady among them MEtv says the Brady Bunch will air all Marcia episodes and one of them is Getting Davy Jones - the twelfth episode of Season 3 of The Brady Bunch. I nearly cried when I got to the last one where I talked to Peter about changing his life with Jesus. I was so awful about that. Peter was such a nice guy. I remember the first time we went to see Davy at B.B. Kings in New York. He told a joke that only got a few giggles and I didn't get for a minute. Then I did and out came my famous giggle and he looked right at me and said, and I quote, "I like you!". That made me swoon. Now I remember the last time we saw him at B.B. Kings in 2012, and how he died 10 days later. That nearly makes me cry, too.
Yesterday was Nicky's daughter, Kaley's birthday and my dad's. It is the only one of all the niece's birthdays that I really remember because it's Dad's birthday - and close to mine.
