It's sunny and warmer today. I took the decoration off the door. I guess I'll put the tree away tomorrow. The paper had one of those End of the Year 2020 sections today. It was fairly predictable. Elysha said they might come by today, but it's almost 2 o'clock, so they probably aren't. It's not too long till we get a new president. It can't be a minute too soon. Trump is in Mar-A-Lago again. He's golfing... Again.
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. — President Donald Trump appeared no closer to signing an end-of-year COVID relief and spending bill Sunday as unemployment aid expired, the government barrels toward a mid-pandemic shutdown and lawmakers implored him to break the impasse he created after Congress approved the deal. Trump blindsided members of both parties with a demand for larger COVID relief checks and complained about “pork” spending, even as help for millions of Americans struggling to make ends meet lapsed overnight. The federal government will run out of money at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday if Trump refuses to sign the bill as he spends the holidays in Florida.
