Spring is 6 days away, and March is going to give the last few days of Winter a run for its money. "Mostly cloudy with a rain or snow shower in spots" - says Accuweather for today. Yesterday was cold, too.
I got my check today and it looks like those checks that you get from a survey. You have the top that tells you whose issued it and you tear the check off a the bottom. It's a cheap looking check.
So I have to decide what I want to do with it. I guess I'll stick with PNC. I'll call and make an appointment with a financial manager. Steven was in bed still when it came and I came in with it. He glanced at it and said he was going to the bank on Thursday, just sign it. I told him no. I was hurt. He stayed all curled up and didn't show much enthusiasm about it. Of course, he won $50,00, so why should he cheer for me, I guess. It's like when I got the money from the sale of Mom's house. He immediately got the money from his mother's estate - $50,000 - and paid the home equity loan off. I think I still have almost $10,000 left.
I bought a used iPad online - refurbished. I got it because there are things that only work with an iPad. It's a inroad, I know...
I'm seeing Tweets about everyone getting a vaccination appointment or have had it. I'm so sick of thinking I'm never going to get it just because I'm lazy. But I'm told to wait patiently for my turn by my PCP - don't call us, we'll call you. Drugstores just say, "Don't ask."
