Today is Earth Day. First celebrated in 1970 to demonstrate support for environmental protection, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY.ORG (formerly Earth Day Network) including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. The official theme for 2023 is Invest In Our Planet.
It was a long day. Didn't do anything to celebrate. I made a nice
dinner, but it was just for me - Steven wouldn't get up. I fried up
four barbequed chicken legs, had a cup of macaroni and
cheese, a salad, and a bowl of ice cream for dessert.
