Holsman called and asked why I wasn't there for my 2 o'clock appointment. I told her it was for Tuesday, because I had a doctor's appointment that I was leaving for right then. She said it was for today and I told her I had the doctor's appointment and that's why it was Tuesday. She had 2 people booked for 2 tomorrow, so I have a 12:30 appointment.
Went to see Dr. Prior. The short of it is that I need to cut back on my sugar intake and exercise more.
I went to Whole Foods to see if I could get birthday cards for the girls (I could - but just one, because they only had one birthday card. All of them were wedding, baby showers, graduation and Father's Day) and a salad. The salad bar was Mediterranean, so I got a little container. Olives, lots of garlic and olive oil and some mushrooms and artichoke hearts. It was good, but I got a lot of olives that were unpitted. I went to Walgreens, too and got cards, some gum, and a can of Liquid Death - water in a can (it's what Lewis Black is drinking now, instead of Fuji water). It's very bland- the Brita water tastes better.
Kara messaged me and her mom. She had the bump in her cheek removed. She says it hurts a little and is swollen. She sent pictures.
She says eating is painful. Also said the copay was what she was told, so she's okay with that. I guess her dad took her and brought her home.
