Got another estimate on the kitchen coming. Carolan Construction.
After he left, Steven starts this "I love you" business. In the 38 years we've been married, he barely has said he loves me first. We got to talking about the past and it got very weird for a while.
Woodgie is now on a psychiatric med - gabapentin. It's for pain and the confusion/anxiety that seems to be why she's screeching all the time.
I got this from one of my email groups:
How To Use Affirmations To Help Ease Anxiety
Whether you’re feeling nervous about something in particular or you generally struggle with anxiety, affirmations can be a great tool to help you manage those feelings.

As noted by Healthline, repeating affirmations can help you:
Take a step back
Address negative thoughts
Problem-solve
Boost your self-esteem
Improve optimism
And more
To create your own affirmations to help with anxiety:
Reframe “negative” thoughts. Reframing a “negative” or anxious thought and reframing it with something neutral can help you feel calmer. For example, if you have the thought, “I can’t handle all this, it’s too much,” you could reframe it to, “I am feeling overwhelmed, but I can tackle one task at a time.”
Keep it realistic. If you’re on the job hunt, phrases like “I have the knowledge and skills to do well in this interview” may be more helpful than “I already have the job,” as they don’t fixate on the outcome as much. Instead, it gives you the reassurance that you are capable.
Here are some great affirmations from PsychCentral to help you calm down:
“I am capable.”
“I can move past this moment.”
“I am prepared and ready for this situation.”
“I have time to prepare and decide.”
“I forgive myself.”
“I am doing the best that I can and that is enough.”
“I release the past and embrace the present.”
Next time you find yourself feeling anxious, try some affirmations and notice how they make you feel.
