It's either sunny, or partly cloudy. I will grant you it's hot. Bing says it's 91° and sunny on my phone.
Steven and I went to Home Depot this morning to get the bathroom sink I ordered for pick-up last night. It took some doing getting there and paring, but getting the sink was a breeze. We didn't have to go much beyond the door. We stopped for breakfast at the Pilgrim.
One of the guys put the sink in and attached the old faucet. The reason it wasn't staying put was that a bolt was missing. He tightened it up and the sink looks great - it's white and matches the vanity. The other guy put in the rod for the blinds in the bathroom - he had a drill, which made it easier. I got something from Amazon that will even the paint out - on the walls and the vanity. Paint in a tube with a roller on it.
Woodgie is scared of everything going on. The guys going in and out worries her. They close the inside door and keep the screen door open.
I'm doing pretty good today, not as negative as usual. But then things are, touch wood, going fairly well. Well, not that well. We have to get somebody to put in countertops, a kitchen sink and new cabinets. We're talking a lot of money.
Today is Kara's birthday. It's hard to believe she is 25 years old! I hope she got her birthday card.  Called her and it turned out she was at her father's house. She said she saw her cat killing a cockroach and went out of her mind, called her mother (who took a half an hour to calm her down over the phone), had her pick her up and take her to her father's house at 1 in the morning. She stayed at her dad's and told her roommate to get her dad to bomb the house to make sure any other cockroaches were killed. Kara says she isn't afraid of spiders, but cockroaches are a whole other thing. We talked for over an hour. She is going to San Francisco on another business trip in July.
