It is really cloudy this morning - it even rained earlier. My plants needed it. 

Elysha messaged - she had a good birthday. She said she got some books, and they ate at Longhorn-- their favorite restaurant.

Jenni called - lightning struck a tree next door and brought a big branch down by her back door. Little branches in the front yard. Must've been a big storm. She also borrowed $100.

Chelsea Handler put a list of things that teachers need to do that they shouldn't and told teachers they could post their Amazon wish lists.

I used my Amazon gift certificate balance and sent things to 3 or 4 teachers. None in Verona or NJ. I really hope I get a couple of thank yous.

Went to get Woodgie's prescription for gabapentin - tablets this time. At least both her meds can be in the same place now. Keeping the gabapentin in the refrigerator made life difficult. I gave her the last of the liquid, I think.

It's a bit after 10:30 PM. The mighty Woodgie took her medicine then went off on an adventure - and came back with a live mouse. Again, I thought it was one of her little plastic mice - until it tried to get away. Steven was watching TV and I was in the extra room playing on the computer (I'm still up here). I screeched at him a couple of times before he cornered both her and the mouse and go it away from her. She's calmed down. I haven't but I will soon. I hope the mouse doesn't have any relatives...
