It's raining a lot! Brian left early last night because it was raining then, and he isn't here yet this morning. It was pouring when I went out to move the car around 8 o'clock. So, here I am very sleepy, but afraid to go back to bed.
Woodgie was a pain in the ass trying to get her to take her meds. Steve had knocked over the vacuums sometime last night and it was hard to get in there. I moved them back to where they belonged when I left.
Woodgie also made "The Cat of the Day" in "dailypurr", a newsletter I get.

“A cat understands how to be pleasant in the morning. He doesn't talk.”

The First Cat Cafe in Gaza
In the Gaza Strip, Naeema Mea'bed recently opened the "MEOW Cat Cafe," the first of its kind in the region, where she hopes to spread joy and raise awareness about pet care. The cafe is a paradise for cat enthusiasts, adorned with cat-themed decor, mirrors, vases, and posters of the 14 resident cats available for guests to interact with. Families, children, and adults gathered in a long queue to enjoy the feline experience.

Naeema Mea'bed's inspiration for the cafe stems from her lifelong passion for cats and her desire to share it with others. She believes that cats are natural mood lifters, and strives to offer a haven for those who love cats but may not have the opportunity to keep them as pets.

The cafe houses a variety of cats, including Persians, Turkish Angoras, and hybrid felines. Despite some skepticism from residents about the project's feasibility in Gaza, many visitors appreciate the cafe as a stress-relieving and enjoyable experience, especially if they can't have a pet cat at home.

Why Cats Lick and Chew on Plastic and Tape
Cats are known for their curious and sometimes mischievous habits, like chewing on tape or other non-food items. This behavior, known as pica, can be driven by various factors, including stress, frustration, or just the cat's playful nature. Cats may be attracted to tape due to its smell, sound, or texture. However, ingesting non-edible objects can pose health risks, leading to gastrointestinal blockages that may require surgery.

To protect your cat from such dangers, it's essential to create a safe environment by keeping small objects out of their reach and promptly disposing of items like tape. If you suspect your cat has pica or any other eating disorder, consult a veterinarian for proper diagnosis and guidance.

By taking preventive measures and seeking professional advice, you can ensure your cat's well-being and reduce the risks associated with compulsive behaviors like pica.

It hasn't stopped raining, but not as hard. Went out and put the garbage out and picked up the Spong's can that spilled out into the street. They must've had a party - a disposable tablecloth was in it. We got a rainbow!
