It's been raining a lot. 

Kara called to wish me a happy birthday and to see if we're under water - she saw that NYC is under a flood watch. She says she's been sick all week and that an at home test says it's not COVID - she went to a music festival last week and that's probably where she picked it up. 

I also got an e-card from Joan. Sweet of her to remember me.

Also got an e-card from Jenni and a message from Elysha.

The excitement for today? We picked out the colors for the cabinets, handles and the countertops. And then WALMART!!!

I got a flannel shirt and a bra. They had so many things in huge sizes! A 46 G bra! 😲I also got a bin to put stuff in when I have to clear out the cabinets. Steve found a package of 8 honey buns. When we got home, he fell up the steps. Blamed me for being in the way... Sigh. Thank goodness he didn't get hurt. I had put everything in the bin, so it spilled out. His new razor came today - I knocked his old one off the sink where it was charging and was open to be cleaned. Spent more on him than me... I also cooked dinner - pork chops and tater tots. 

I'm drinking kombucha. It's nasty stuff -like drinking razor blades. The fizz just feels like it cuts your mouth. Citrus and Ginger was awful like that. The one I've got now is Bubbly Rose and it's not as sharp, although it's still fizzy.
