It poured! We got our shots. No eclipse visible. Naturally - since I got two pair of special eclipse glasses. We went to Pilgrim for lunch - I actually talked him out of stopping at Dunkin' and Burger King. Well, he had the open roast beef sandwich with gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, matzoh ball soup, and his root beer float (lots of ice cream.  He ate it all and after we got the check (thank goodness) he threw up. I though he was just coughing but he grabbed napkins, his handkerchief and I got a man to give me extra paper napkins. It looked like he was throwing up blood, too, but he said it was his red shirt bleeding. It was a mess. I paid for it with my Capital One card, giving the waitress $10 on a $44+/- bill because of the mess. We had to stop at Staples to return something to Amazon. I drove, and I went in, did the exchange and used the $10 off $30 to get more paper and a wireless mouse. The mouse is Logitech and it works. I put it on my Amazon card.
