Went to Pilgrim, got a new waitress - the ones all around us were women I know - Brianna, Karen and a girl we had the last time whose name I can't remember. Ours was Athena. I got the Turkey dinner, with double stuffing instead of a vegetable. Steven got a steak dinner. I paid and gave the girl a $15 cash tip. The entire check was $73.30 - I put it on my Savor card. That's why it was $73.30 - a $2.00 processing charge. That and tax was $6.55.
We also went to Amazing Savings - wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be. I got 2 new pair of rubber gloves - still no dishwasher - and a new pair of readers - round ones to make up for the round ones I broke this morning trying to clean them. A pair that was $23.99 to begin with (Foster Grants) and I paid $1.99 for them. So I was thankful for that.
My back still hurts - spasms and tightens, so I put Icy Hot on it and the back brace. I also used my cane and watched my every step - the parking lots are so cracked and uneven. I put Icy Hot on my back at least twice in the middle of the night. Giving Woodgie her medicine was a literal pain this morning. I felt like it was Sunday.
