I've worked my fingers to the bone today. First, I've scanned all the documents and sent them to Jackie (the realtor who's selling our home), then get a message that a few of them need to be notarized. Then I take Steven to the hospital to get his behavioral visit. We hurry back and corral Woodgie into her carrier (which we rip the house apart looking for) and we take Woodgie to the vet. They can't take her early, but she can stay with the receptionist. So, I'm off to City Hall again. The lady who did them yesterday was leaving to catch a flight. Sigh. Well, another lady did them and told me one of them couldn't be witnessed because it was notarized by their office. So, I go back and Woodgie gets her check-up and shot, a health certificate for her new vet, and a new bottle of gabapentin - 100 mg to knock her out while traveling, and we go home. Then the lawyer, Mike Giordano and Daniel Buchsbaum show up. Got Daniel to witness the one that couldn't be notarized again. Then I find out that I haven't printed, signed or notarized another piece of paperwork. So, I leave Steven with Mike and Daniel and head to City Hall again. Get the last one notarized and go to Walgreen's and check to see if Steven's meds are in. No. But I get a wonderful on sale ironic duo - 2 bags of Brach's Large Conversation Hearts for $6 and a toothbrush on sale for $4. I scan the paper and the guys leave. Send the final scan to Jackie and am about to collapse. Can I do that in my bed? No. Because as soon as Daniel left, Steven went to my room and flopped in my bed. So, I'm here, venting. Which I do in the car and tick Steven off about that. Sigh.
