So, I got up around 10 and looked at the closet in what was Elysha's room. I have got a lot of suitcases to get rid of or pack away - they might be good to put clothes in. I packed some stuff away - the topper from our wedding cake among them and two of Elysha's art pieces from Montclair Uni.
I had the last Bagel from Bagelwich and put lots of cream cheese on it to get rid of it. I had a quesadilla from Mad Taco - the tacos weren't too good, but the quesadilla was great. I've got half of one of those left - Steven actually ate the other half.
About two weeks left here. I've put in a change of address with the post office. Take effect on March 6th. We'll, 🤞🏼 my fingers crossed, be there then.
Elysha called to tell me that the movers are going to bring boxes and tape on Wednesday. So, I've got like 10 boxes that I haven't used.
I try to return all the boxes that were a big disappointment. Six of twelve that I got from Amazon at $30+ at six a box. I left a not-so-nice review on Amazon. Here it is: Here are the pictures of the two sides of the box (not "assembled"). You are going to put this box together to haul a fair amount of things away - this is a "Heavy Duty box". First you fold those side in and do the right over left, left over right until you have a box. Then you put things in the box and do the same routine to close the top. You've wrestled with this box for at least 10 minutes and you're ready to pick it up. Can you see the problem here? YES! NO handles. And unless you've put a significant amount of tape to hold the bottom together, the bottom will drop open, leaving your contents there on the floor and the bottom of the box all spread out. And you spent over $30 for six of them. I bought five of the same sort of box at Staples for $15 for 5. These are not worth it and returning them, unless you have a UPS store near your home is $7.99, meaning you have paid nearly $40 if, like me, you bought 2 of them. I hope you've read all this and realized this is not a good purchase.
The manager at Staples in Cedar Grove was a big help. I had no problem returning the 4 out of 5 boxes I bought there - they were also a big disappointment, although not as expensive a one as the ones at Amazon. I finally paid $7.99 to return the ones to Amazon, as schlepping to a UPS store is not my cuppa tea. I think I didn't get the full refund at Staples, but it was just $5 and the help I got with their manager there was worth that... He got the boxes in and out of the car - twice! His name was Mark and I probably made this the worst of his days. I almost cried at how nice they were there.
