I was up a little longer than I posted yesterday. A boy rang our front bell at around 11pm, asked if he could come in and call for help, he was hurt. I told him I could call 911 and he said that was fine. They sent a policeman and then an ambulance. Steven talked to him a little through the "screen" door and gave him some water. He said the kid told him his friends literally dropped him off, going around 45 mph and that's why he thought he broke his wrist. The police and the EMTs got him set up to go and the policeman said he'd need to call his parents before they could treat him. I stayed up until they left, because Steven told the police to let us know if there was anything else we could do. Then he went to bed. Sigh. It was a long night.
