Today's link is a timeline of Women's History, this one from 1770-1799. The link is Ken Middleton's from the Middle Tennessee State University Library's site. His American Women's History: A Research Guide was named one of the Best Free Reference Web Sites in 2004 by the Machine-Assisted Reference Section (MARS) of the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) of the ALA (American Library Association).
This timeline just covers the time when my great-great-great-great grandmother, Ester Durnil was born in the not-quite United States, married John T. Roberts and moved with him to Kentucky's Casey County, where they lived in 1810.
Another link from Middleton's site is Quilts, which does not refer specifically to women or history, but, as we all should know, women's crafting of fabric tells much in its own way.
