I talked to Andrea Marana, my case worker from Intensive Family Support Services (mental health). We talked about setting limits and cutting back Jenni's support from me. She says, rightly so, that Jenni is an adult who should try to manage and get benefits from the government and jobs. She needs to get on disability. I don't see why she can't. Legal Aid should be able to help her. It was a long time ago that she filed for it and was turned down. If she has a psychiatrist who prescribes for her, she should be able to file for SSI. I'm not real optimistic about it, but I'll bring it up next time she calls or messages for money.
From the Star-Ledger:
State parks and golf courses in New Jersey may reopen Saturday morning after weeks of being closed — the first major move Gov. Phil Murphy has made to begin lifting the near-lockdown orders he implemented to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Murphy announced Wednesday he’s signing an executive order that will take effect at sunrise Saturday. He stressed that parts of parks will remain off limits, visitors and golfers must continue to practice social distancing, and all will be “strongly” encouraged to wear face coverings. The governor also said he reserves the right to reverse his decision if people don’t comply.
