Today we had a box on the front porch, but it wasn't ours - it was for Ray Picciano, down the street. He got an order from Chewy - for his cats. So I got it in the car and drove to his house, dropped it on the step and rang the doorbell. When he came to the door, I hollered out that he should change his address! He's at 10, not 19. Didn't get a chance to talk to him though.
Called Jenni, who had called earlier. She, of course, needed money. She told me her dad had given her a ride to one of the temp jobs she's been doing, that Kara's been having to get Lyft to get to work and it's iffy. Kara's boyfriend - a soldier at Fort Hood, or somewhere in Texas- was in a car accident, but is ok. She's doing okay, brut talks a lot about a boy named Eaon (pronounced as if it's spelled Ian), who has been helping her out. I warn her every time I talk to her that she should be careful.
