Well, I got back all right. The wheelchairs made it a lot easier. The worst part was, as always, trying to find my ride. The flights were nice- spaced out well. The flight into Newark was a little crowded - economy seating was very close and it was hard to get to the window seat. That put me 6' away from the girl in the aisle seat across the aisle.  I double masked. Nice people flying, both employees and other passengers. I got a message from Greg - I got rid of some papers that he needed. I told him to call the doctors whose appointments he said I threw away and that I was sorry. I gave Steven the papers he needs to sign and have notarized. He said he'll do it tomorrow. I got a nice sympathy card from Jan and Lorraine. I also got a Christmas card from Jim and Etta Mae White - Dad's Aunt Rose's daughter. I've got to take my carryon - Mom's train case- upstairs and get my meds together.
Woodgie is happy to see me - I think. I'm looking at a piece of paper on my desk - it has the hospital phone number and Mom's room number.
A 90-year-old British grandmother, Margaret Keenan, is the first person in the West to receive a COVID-19 vaccine outside clinical trials, as the UK starts inoculating its citizens. Keenan, who turns 91 next week, said she felt "so privileged" to take the vaccine, according to the UK National Health Service.
