Partly sunny The National Weather Service issued winter storm watches and warnings Tuesday across eight states spanning from North Carolina to Massachusetts ahead of the storm. More snow is anticipated from the developing nor'easter than from all of the storms last winter combined in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York City and Boston.

Today, Steven went to Town Hall and got the Power of Attorney notarized. He went to the post office and sent it Priority Mail Express - overnight delivery, guaranteed to get there by 3 PM tomorrow, and got me Christmas stamps, which he put on the Christmas cards and mailed them. He also got me a book of postcard stamps, so I can send Lorraine and Jan more of the vintage postcards I found in Mom's room. He went by Burger King and picked up sandwiches for lunch - today and tomorrow. Then he went to Kings. See that winter storm watches up there? It brought out the usual storm troopers. Today was also old people discount day. The line, he said, was back to the dairy cases. He couldn't get the bread I wanted, but did get a loaf of white bread. He got all but frozen stuff - he thought it would've melted before he got to the checkout. He did say it moved pretty quick. He saved $56. So, not too bad a wait. The garbage men took everything Jimi put out from the garage - even the old TV!
