Well, we had out first snowstorm - started around 4 o'clock yesterday. Not too bad, but we prepare for the worst.
Not enough to cover the shrubs. That's the sign of a bad snowstorm. 😉 It snowed a little more this afternoon. Steven shoveled snow this morning and was this 🤏 close to a heart attack. Listened to a Beach Boys Christmas Album. At the end, Dennis Wilson wishes us a happy new year. Sad, very sad.
We had deer in the yard. At first there were three of them in the Knippings' yard and I wondered when they'd put the deer out there. Then one of them moved! By the time I got my camera ready, they had disappeared. Then, later I went to check on the mail and one was in the front yard. Again, I go for the camera and it disappears. Finally I get the camera and there are two of them in the yard. I open the door and they run to the sidewalk and take off. Here's the picture I got.
The post office has not kept to its guarantee of 24 hour delivery on our package with the Power of Attorney. It was sent at 10:30 am on the 15th. According to the tracking number, it finally got there at 11:30 am today. That's definitely more than 24 hours. They said there were delays due to COVID, but that Priority Express was not affected. Shit, no. It was affected and I am going to try to get them to pay for it. I called/texted Cathy and let her know.
Checked with Stewart - he got the Christmas package. The other will probably get there after Christmas, although I intended it to get there first.
I finally got to the laundry.
Jenni got in touch with me. she needs $300 - truck payment and insurance, to say nothing of gas for the truck. Fuck it.
I'm still very tired. I can't sleep well, so I am always tired. My main medication says its not soon enough to get a refill covered by insurance. So there's something else to worry about. Damn it. That was my main word yesterday - damn it and fuck were every other word. Nothing seemed to go right. Today hasn't been much better. I listened to a Beach Boys Christmas Album that I brought home from Mom's house. At the end, the late Dennis Wilson wishes us a happy new year. That and "I'll Be Home for Christmas" made me cry. Sad, very sad. 😢😢😢😢😢
