Roto-Rooter is upstairs, trying to clean out the drain. It's probably going to did set us back over $500. It costs $200 just for them to come. I hear all kinds of scraping and hacking...
No blood pressure today. I don't feel like taking off my shirt to take my blood pressure. I may do it once a week. I did it over my shirt- Omron from now on. It's about what my pressure was at the doctor's office - 132/75 Pulse: 61
The electrician sent us a contract estimate. They charge a $75 fee to come out and $87.50 per man hour. I have to "sign it" and send it back - they'll get back to us in the next few weeks.
BREAKING NEWS (CNN):Trumpist Domestic Terrorist Breaks Into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's Office, Leaves Threatening Note. Trump's followers have overrun the Capitol. National Guard, etc. They are mostly white, so no one is firing on them. It's scary as hell. They seem to be chanting something - Trump won! They are climbing on doorways. People are being pulled up the sides of the Capitol with ropes. Trump is not saying a word. Biden made a request to people to stop, that the insurrection needs to stop. It looks like the president may make some comment - he has no sense of urgency about this. He's releasing a video of Trump in the Rose Garden on Twitter that says "You need to go home now." Damn, I can't believe it.
