Parts of the Northeast could begin to feel the effects of Hurricane Henri as soon as late Saturday, as the storm barrels toward the region. Forecasters said Henri was expected to remain at or near hurricane strength when it makes landfall midafternoon Sunday, which the hurricane center said could be on New York's Long Island or in southern New England — most likely Connecticut. The upgrade in status came with the National Hurricane Center's 11 a.m. advisory.
It's bound to rain. I went to the library to pick up a book, and the high school is having their annual "make it rain " car wash. It's sunny out now, but it was real cloudy when I got the weather above. I bought some note cards from "Friends of the Library". It has a picture of the old library after all the work was done.
I went to Walgreens and bought a lot of stuff. Steven was right - it looks like they are either going to renovate or close down. Everything is on sale and the shelves are emptying out. I should've asked the cashier.
