Steven came home from the grocery and told me he had to chase a melon he bought that escaped and rolled toward Route 23. He caught it, but fell to his knees and when he went to get up, fell on his head. He took off his cap and his head is all scraped up. His knees, remarkably, aren't. The melon was not even skinned up at all. It's a "Golden Hami ". He swears it's supposed to be a honeydew. He said the guy in the big SUV, parked next to him, didn't get out to help him, but said he probably didn't even see him. He waited to pull out, not because Steven was out on the pavement, but because Steven had left a cart parked too close for him to be sure he wouldn't hit it with his big ass SUV. He said it was funny. I'd still be in the parking lot screaming. He's still talking about how fast the melon was going!
