Saw Dr. Leslie today. My blood levels have all evened out, which means the medicine is working and that I won't need blood-letting. The thought of getting a lot of blood taken by that inept gal at the hospital's lab was frightening. 😱

Kara called because she read about the hurricane and how bad it hit NY and NJ. It rained all night, but it cleared up - today has been sunny and nice all day. She told me about having her tooth pulled. She's just now getting to eating solid food again. She also told me to remind Poppie that she's coming up in two months.

We're planning to go to Elysha's the end of this month - two weeks. The rental car will be around $500. Steven wants to do a road trip - stop and do something, drive on, that sort of thing. I have appointments on the 6th and 7th of October. So we'll plan on getting home a day or so before that. I can change them if I need to.
