This morning I found out that Pearlman walked to a truck stop last night and had dinner, served by a nice waitress named Rosie. Then he curled up back in the car and went back to sleep. I woke him up and got him to come inside around 1:30 am. We slept okay. We got home okay. Stopped a few times. Got some more postcards in Ohio, where they have great service areas, but nobody would put them in the mail for me.
Had dinner at the Pilgrim. I sent Elysha some pictures of the new place. Molly came by and brought the key. I went over to the Knippings and took their papers and mail and put them on the porch, and got the extra key out of the milk box in the back of the house.
Woodgie has been pretty talkative since we got back, but she's finally clammed up for a while.
