I ordered an ornament for Kara today from a guy who was a baby when I was at the church in Verona. His grandfather was so proud of him, especially when he was in grade school and had decided to become an ice skater. Well, he went to school in California and has become a photographer. My order got kind of whacky - I tried to use my Eno app to create a temporary Capital One Mastercard number. It was refused a few times. I finally saw a PayPal option, so I went through that- so I thought that was easier and I was glad it worked. Then I got a note from both PayPal and Capital One for my purchase. So, I've e-mailed the boy and told him that the order had been screwed up, could he do something? He's gotten back to me and said he'll try to fix it.
This is a screen shot of the picture I chose. Not the greatest, but...
Elysha called and said Jimi got a good deal on a 10-pound turkey at Meijer's - it was $3+/-. He told her it was mismarked and they gave it to him at the price on the tag. They were going to go back and get more - to give to homeless shelters or something - but they'd fixed it by the time he got back there. She said he helped his friend Mitch put up Christmas lights at the mall near them. He took a personal day and got paid for helping with the lights, so a double pay day. Elysha also said she got a $50 gift card for Thanksgiving from her company. They seem to be doing okay.
Steven has spent the whole day in bed, upstairs and downstairs. I sorted out his tee shirts and hung them in the closet, putting some of his outgrown stuff in the giveaway bag. Mostly boxers that are way too small and a couple of tee shirts that were just stupid, not comic characters he needs to be seen in. I put the shorts, undershirts, socks, and handkerchiefs in the Batman hamper and put it in "our" bedroom, between some comic stacks.
I'm worn out. Guess I'll go upstairs and mess around on the computer up there and get ready for bed. I should change the sheets, but will probably let it go a few more days...
