Today, Kara and I went to the hospital for my appointments. I'm doing okay, my blood levels are pretty good. Then we went to breakfast at the Pilgrim. Then we went shopping at TJ Maxx - again and stalled for time until our appointments at Supercuts.

Kara had less time to wait. My stylist was busy with an enormous bottle blond who would not shut up. I swear, one more minute and I was close to punching her. She was so big, once she shed the cape, that my fist would have just been sucked in.

Anyway, I finally got mine cut - Kara was done almost before I got to get mine cut. There was another woman with very short fine hair that one of the girls was doing and I thought she'd never get done (it turned out that whoever finished did not take the next appointment). She got done and it turned out she had a coupon, got a senior discount and got points toward her next cut. The girl who cut her couldn't take me because an old man had an appointment with her and she couldn't do mine before him. She did take a walk-in though because a lady that came in early for her appointment was scheduled for my stylist. I swear, now that you need an appointment to get a haircut there, Supercuts has gotten way too complicated...

Woodgie still is not really happy yet about Kara being here. She'll probably warm up to her right as she's ready to go home.
