Not a cloud in the sky from where I sit. The newspaper says: We could be in for our longest stretch of near-freezing and sub-freezing days so far this winter. Temperatures will be dropping into the teens across most of New Jersey this morning, and some areas of Morris, Sussex and Warren counties will see the mercury dip into the single digits, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.
Now that's reassuring. At least there's no snow predicted.
In sad news, Meat Loaf died - of complications from COVID. He apparently didn't get vaccinated or wear a mask. Louie Anderson, the comic, also died. He had a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer of the immune system that develops from abnormal lymphocytes. Celebrities that I have liked seem to be dying a lot lately. Age and diseases associated with age are doing them in.
I've played a new game that's online called Wordle. I can get words that are 5 letters - you have to guess words, no hints. You build on what letters you get right. It tells you what letters you got right, and which ones are in the right place. It makes you concentrate and think.
Worked up enough nerve to go to Walgreens and returned the chocolate covered cherries. I got some conversation hearts - a little box, some hoke to hang thing on, some cashews, Clorox disinfecting wipes, and some flossers. I tried to get the ice off of the windshield wipers and pulled the rubber loose from the driver's side one. I dread telling Steven.
I got a confirmation e-mail about the Penn & Teller thing tomorrow that I am eagerly awaiting...
