Accuweather, damn it, has changed its display so I have to cut and paste more. It's a lovely day out. Mostly cloudy, but the sun peeks through every now and them. 

I have my appointment with the eye doctor in about a half an hour. I've got to remember my mask.

Oh, my laptop has miraculously restored itself. I checked on the Chromebook to see if I could get it fixed - it turns out it's still under warranty. Right after that, it was right as rain.  Strange how threatening to replace it or send it off for free repair seems to get things working again.

The doctor says my vision seems good, so the stuff that's starting to happen to my eyes - macular degeneration and cataracts- isn't a problem. The eyelid sticking problem I have is not a real problem. It's common, he said - Blepharitis - an inflammation of the eyelids. This occurs due to infection at the base of eyelashes or when the tiny oil glands at the base of the eyelashes become clogged. He suggested a spray called Sterilid , an antimicrobial eyelid cleanser. I tried to get it at Walgreens, but they didn't have it, so I went to CVS. I also got some vitamins that are supposed to help stave off some eye problems like mine. I got some shampoo and conditioner that was on sale, too - another $60+/-. The drug store is getting expensive.
