I feel a little better today. Last night, I realized I'd left the living room light on. So, after I've gone to the bathroom, I go and decide whether it's really worth it to go down and turn it off. Then I hear a thud. I got the steps and turn on the hall light. There's Steven, sitting at the bottom of the stairs. I schlep down and offer to help him up, but he says no, he's okay. Then he proceeds to babble about some movie he'd watched about a guy who kills Marvel characters by using their own powers. He went one like that for 5 minutes. Then he helps me up the stairs but won't stay up there. I worried about him because he said he just bumped his shoulder. I thought I heard him go "ow" once and I worried all night about him maybe breaking it. I checked on him. He's still alive but isn't going to get up apparently. So, I guess he's okay. I'd go up and take a nap, but that's probably when the doctor's office will call again. Damned if I do, damned if I don't.

Steven's up and he says his shoulder is okay. Thank goodness.
