FREEZE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut and southeast New York.
* WHEN...From late tonight through Monday morning.
Great - Happy Easter! I would expect a freeze warning if Easter were in March, but this is ridiculous!
I got up last night at midnight, changed the sheets (although I forgot to bring up the ones with a flat sheet), and took a shower. Still didn't sleep well.
When I got up, I dressed up - for myself, since it didn't look like Steven was going to get up any time soon.
I made brownies. I got them in the oven, then realized I hadn't put the oil in, so I took the pan out and mixed the oil in. It floated and I was afraid I hadn't gotten it mixed well enough. It seems okay though.
Nothing special planned. Elysha called yesterday - they're moved in to the house and have lots to do. She said they hoped to have one of the bathrooms done by today. They had to shower at Mitch's house and she said it was a good thing they were off on Thursday and Friday. She says she has an interview on Monday, looking for a new job. I hope it is what she's hoping for.
We went to Pilgrim for dinner - surprisingly not packed. I had Virginia ham and Steven had a seafood platter.. They have made things a bit smaller, from the matzoh ball soup (the matzoh ball was downsized quite a bit) to the plates. There was enough, not so that you could feed a family of 4 for a week, like before.
Got a message from Jenni - she went to the cemetery and took flowers and pennies for Grandpa and Grandma Maddux.
She said a friend that was headed out that way took her. She's going to see about the car tomorrow.
I cut a lot of daffodils since there's the threat of a freeze.
