My hematologist, Dr. Leslie, is moving out of Montclair. Damn it. Her office called and told me I should get an appointment with Dr. Conti, who is who my doctor referred me to, many months ago. They'll transfer my documents since I made an appointment. My appointment is now on the 8th of August. 12:30 in the afternoon!
When I put the appointment on the calendar, I find a Dr. Eichler on the 19th. I think he's an eye doctor.
It's been 40 years since my suicide attempt. It has not been an easy trip and I'm not necessarily glad I made it, but life since then has been somewhat better. And I finally have medication that seems to balance my out-of-control moods. Here's to the future.
