I had a big day - the guy came to install the dishwasher. Right after he was done and left and the dishwasher had finished its first round, a call came from American Freight - the guy was there to install the dishwasher. Apparently, the guy from the plumber came and just said he was there to install it. Steve got an alternate, figuring American Freight wouldn't get everything together. So, the alternate shows up and so does the guy from AF. So, delivery was $700 - he got $200 charged back to Discover, he said. I don't know how much the damn dishwasher cost with all the extra installation fees. It's definitely not as good as the one it replaced, but I'm not going to tell Steve that - I complain about everything.
I went to get my hair cut, thinking I had an appointment with somebody new. I got there and Tabitha was there! Go it cut really short, keeping my natural color for the time being. I got a bunch of cards at Hallmark, including two for Jimi's birthday (one just from Woodgie), one for Ayla's 11th (I forgot to put her birthday on the calendar!), one "just because" for Lorraine and Janice, and one for Kaley's 8th (her birthday is Dad's, easy to remember). I skipped TJ Maxx but went to Starbucks. Got a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino® Blended Beverage - delicious- and a Petite Vanilla Bean Scone- also delicious! Then I went to the bank and to Stop and Shop and got some groceries. Got home and fund the door was still locked and I couldn't find my house key. I got one out of the lock box in the garage. My house key was hung on the rack where Woodgie's jacket/leash is.
So, when I got all the cards made out, I realized I didn't have a $5 bill for Ayla's card, so I went to Walgreen's with a $10 bill and spent $4 and change so that I got a $5 bill back. I wrapped up the box we've been loading to send to Elysha and Jimi and did a click and ship label for it. Everything is going to be late, but that's the way things have been going lately.
