Text messages from the phone from Elysha yesterday.

Her: Just got home from the hospital. He was supposed to go home today but they waited too long to discharge him and nobody was there to go over his instructions or give him crutches. Surgery went okay here's a picture of what it looks like now.

His follow-up is next Tuesday it's going to be a long recovery. He'll need another surgery in a few weeks. It's possible it won't heal 100% it was really bad.

Me: So you're home and he's not . Is he going to be able to get in the house? Your house was handicapped accessible for the old lady, wasn't it? That'll help some. Glad he's doing better. Let us know how things are going tomorrow. Love you both.❤️❤️❤️

Her: Yea another night alone. ☹️ Yea he'll be on crutches until he can use a knee scooter. He'll pretty much be bed ridden until his follow-up. We've got the chair on the stairs which will help when he needs to get in the basement. I'll keep you posted. Love you 💕

Me: Well you aren't completely alone. You have Quigley and Eva, as well as Jersey and Wedgie. Not the same, but hey... Daddy says if you need to hire someone to help him while you are at work, let us know. Love you ❤️❤️❤️

Her: I know they definitely help but I can't sleep without him. It's been hard. I appreciate that but hopefully it won't come to that. Mitch is willing to help as much as he can so at least that's something. ❤️
