It's so odd to think I should go to the drugstore or the grocery, then think I can't because I have no car. It's going to be like that for a few days at least. Steve's still in bed. He stayed there all day - and Progressive called about the car. I answered it but didn't exactly know what he wanted. The voice came from under the covers and told me what to tell him.

His sister called to see how we were doing - probably Erica called her after my post on Facebook. She said she'd help if she could - but they're headed to Florida. Figures. Sigh.

I messaged Elysha. She had said yesterday that Jimi had some trouble coming out of the anesthesia.  She said he went to sleep when he got home and was having some trouble with pain one the nerve blocker wore off. His pain meds weren't helping.

Kara will be her tomorrow. I'm thinking of us going into New York on Saturday and staying in a hotel for the night.  Going to look at hotels near the school.  Like I said, it should be an interesting week. I'd get a birthday card for Steve - his birthday is Thursday - but it wouldn't get her in time if I order it online and I put it off, thinking I'd got to the Hallmark store in West Caldwell today.
