Accuweather got it wrong. It was very cloudy this morning when I took Steven for his x-rays. The parking lot was crammed. I went around once, then decided maybe I could get a cup of coffee. I drove back to where the coffee place was and voilà, there was a space. So, I went in and got a cup of coffee. There was one of those soccer moms (what do they call them now?) with a tiny little girl in pigtails, who stood there and stared at me while her mother tried to decide what kind of "milk" she wanted in her coffee (she went with oat milk -ick). I finally got my coffee once I got the server's attention and took it out to the car. Then I went back up the hill to see if a space had opened up. No. So, I went around again and this time someone was pulling out right near the end of the place. I called the eye doctor and made an appointment - April 3rd at 11:30 am was the earliest I could get, so I went with that. Then I sat there and read for a little bit, then Steven comes out. I guess he's done. No. He needs his driver's license, and it is not in his wallet. He's sure it's in the car. I'd looked under the seat, so I told him it wasn't in the car. He was sure it was. I looked down between the seat and the console and there it was. I wiggled it forward a little and when he moved the seat back, he could get to it. So, he goes back in and I get my book (Kindle on the phone, which I remembered this time). Several pages later, he comes out and is all done.
We went to Burger King, and he got a couple of burgers and Icees. So, there's the exciting stuff for today.
