We went to try and put the check from Merrill Lynch in the bank - in Upper Montclair on Valley Road. I drove and drove and we didn't find it. Steven was getting real pissed off. So we gave up (turns out I didn't drive far enough - although it seemed like we should've gotten to it) and went to pay the water bill (and again, he got pissed off about me not going to the right place) and get Chinese food. So I let him out in back of City Hall and he runs in and puts the bill in. Then he tells me to pull into the bank lot where he puts in the order at Chinese on my phone (although the car took over, so I had to turn off the car). Then he wants me to pull over and park behind what used to be the bakery on Montrose. He goes and gets the food. Then we go to Walgreens. He takes the hot/cold bag, doesn't get a cart, collects all the stuff he wanted in the bag (I'm sure they'll get him for shoplifting), and I get what I want - gum and Charmin- and I check out first, go to the car, then he comes out, having put everything back in the bag. It was a long day.
I'm listening to an old program from Audible with Robin Williams and Harlan Ellison. Harlan, believe or not, tells some great stories and Robin barely got a word in edgewise. He is so funny.
