Went to the library last night and got a bunch of books for Elysha. I had a weird dream about Joan. It's one of those where I'm on my own - I asked her if she wanted to stay with me. She was having problems with her car and her apartment. I was helping work at the library, which in my dream had renovated more. It had gardens with plant sales, print services, children's programs. There were hundreds of people checking things out, buying flowers, trying to get hundreds of things printed -and it was closing time. I tried to get people to leave, but as soon as I got some people to leave, others tried to come in. Finally, we got out and as I was taking Joan home to eat dinner, she bolted and went with some guy. It was a crazy dream.
The home improvement guy came by - the estimate for gutting the kitchen and renovating it is 4 to 6 weeks and around $50,000.
I'm ready to go back to bed - and not get up. Jenni got a recommendation for a home renovator that one of her friends from high school gave her. Steve called them and they're coming by tomorrow to give us an estimate.
