Today was a long day that I spent out of the house. First, I went to see Ian at Dr. Cavanagh's office and he said I didn't need another endoscopy, that I could get an MRI done and that would tell them how the cyst on my pancreas was doing. They'll request it from my insurance and then I'll make an appointment at that imaging center in West Caldwell that took over Montclair Radiology.  After that, I stopped at a CVS and found the Evian that I had a free coupon for. It took like 15 minutes for the poor clerk to get it to take. I also got a canister of Folger's instant coffee. After that, the Google Maps guy led me all around town and finally got me home. I called Marsh Animal Hospital and asked if I could get a new syringe for Woodgie's medicine and they said sure. So, I called and made an appointment for a mani-pedi at the Nail place next to them. Then I went and picked up the syringes (they gave me two!) and I went to the nail place. I got my fingernails done first - an orange shad for Halloween. Then I got my pedicure and had no polish. She sanded them down so that the white spots from having polish on too long was gone. I went to the library to see Joan and to pick up a book I had reserved. I think I'm bad off. She's in terrible shape. After that, I went to the Empanada Lady and got some for Steven and me. I hadn't eaten all day. I got 2 for each of us and put it on Discover. I also got flan!
So, it was a long day.
I'm keeping an eye on the PNC account because of the guy fixing the sump pump. Steve wrote him a check for the down payment. He wants cash when he finishes the job. He wants to work Monday and Tuesday, too. Both he and Devin will be working while we handle Trick or Treaters. And he will work with cement...
